"To teach is to touch a life forever."

What is OER: Open Educational Resources (OER) are freely accessible, openly licensed text, media, and other digital assets that are useful for teaching, learning, and assessing as well as for research purposes.
“Do you have an amazing lesson or idea that you would like to share with everyone? Open Education Resources allows you to share all your ideas for others to benefit, as well as you benefit from theirs.” ~ Tanille

In October of 2017 I ventured to Anaheim, California with two co-workers to explore the world of Open Education Resources. The Open Ed Conference was three full days of presentations & roundtable discussions. I’ve got to admit I knew nothing about OER when I boarded the plane, but I learned how to seek resources I could implement in my courses. I utilized some of the videos and articles in one of my classes and hope to explore OER further.
We had a half day off, so of course the three of us hit Huntington Beach. It was a gorgeous day and we even had a chance to chat with some of my Warner Brother's film maker friends while they were filming "Lucifer" on the beach.
